Chapter 1[]

Tuileries Garden first appears after Phantom R and Fondue head north from Musée d'Orsay Station. Phantom R notes how the "ordinary park" becomes extraordinary when the traveling amusement park arrives, and begins reminiscing how his father used to take him along. Phantom R then assures Fondue that he isn't going to get emotional, and re-directs his focus to the Bracelet of Tiamat and how it will aid him in finding his father, while also being filled with a sense of enthusiasm.

They also meet Maxim and Emilie for the first time; Maxim, a balloon salesman, boasts how strong his balloons are and advises customers against letting go. Emilie has been enjoying the park's various attractions and gets excited over her mother buying her a balloon.
